Hutsul region is the most vivid Carpathian one in Ukraine. It is
located inner the highest Ukrainian mountain ranges and it has
preserved archaic ways of life and culture of its inhabitants – the
Hutsuls: peculiar types of wooden architecture (esp. that of churches),
traditional Hutsul crafts: carving, metal processing, wool clothes,
fiery music and songs (kolomyyky), ornamental patterns of local clothing.2 in 1Duration: 2 days1st day. Meeting the group in Ivano-Frankivsk. Skiing (depending on weather conditions: Verkhovyna, Tourist Complex “Bukovel”, Yablunytsya, or other; in case of no snow – skiing on artificially covered with snow slopes). For those who do not want to ski – walking tour: Vorokhta: wooden The Virgin Nativity Church (1780); visiting the lifts and ski jumps. Staying for the night in Vorokhta, Yaremche or its suburbs. Dinner. 2nd day. Breakfast. Crossing the Carpathians and observing typical samples of Hutsul architecture and ways of life. Tatariv: wooden Dmytrivska church (1870). Yaremche: Probiy waterfall, Hutsul market; Pnivsky Castle (XVII c.) Walking tour around Ivano-Frankivsk. End of the tour. Prices do not include fare to/from Ivano-Frankivsk, entrance tickets. Price per person includes: • transfer during the trip; • guide and instructor services during the tour; • staying at the hotel or tourist centre; • meals (2 breakfast, 2 dinner); • insurance. You need to have spare clothes for the cave tour, though you may rent overalls for 10 UAH on the spot. ATTENTION!
