On arrival, foreign guests are requested to fill in a customs declaration. Passport control is followed by customs office desk. Make sure to fill in the Entrance Customs' Declaration Form to declare valuable objects you bring into Ukraine if you are carrying more than 1000 $ and/or 10 000 UAH (or the equivalent in any other currency) and/or declarable goods. Those carrying more than the above amount must have an A1 bank reference form. If you have less than $ 1000 and no declarable goods, you only need to inform a customs officer verbally. Officers have the right to inspect your bags at any time.
