Do I need an entry visa?
Since September 2005 visa is not required for the following countries (if you are to stay in Ukraine for up to 90 days):
European Union –
Austria, Belgium, Czech Republic, Cyprus, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Spain, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, the Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Slovakia, Republic of Slovenia, Sweden, United Kingdom.
If you are coming from Bulgaria – you will have to obtain visa.
You will not need Visa if you are from Republic of Armenia, Republic of Azerbaijan, Republic of Belarus, Canada, Cyprus, Georgia, Japan, Republic of Kazakhstan, Principality of Lichtenstein, Republic of Moldova, Principality of Monaco, Russian Federation, Switzerland, Republic of Tajikistan, USA, Republic of Uzbekistan, Vatican.
For citizens of other countries visas are required for the entry into Ukraine.
Because a visa clearance procedure varies from country to country, it is advisable that you call your Ukrainian Consulate at a reasonably long notice.
What are the terms for Visa processing and how much does it cost?
Standard term for visa processing is 10 working days. Term may depend on the Consulate and visa type. If necessary, visa-processing term may be shortened to up to 7 days; quick visa processing usually costs 2 times more. The cost of a visa depend on its type and on the Ukrainian Consulate you apply for it.Please, note only working days are counted - Consulates do not work on Saturday and Sunday, and celebrate all Ukrainian Holidays and Holidays of the country they are located in.
