Caves are places that still remain unexplored to the full. And Ukraine
has got several world-known caves on its territory – in Podillya and in
the Crimea. Those horizontal ones of labirynth type are in Podillya and
those vertical ones – in the Crimea. This tour introduces some secrets of such formations as well as the unique landscapes around. AVAILABILITY: all year round “Mlynky” is 25km long cave, well-known for its crystal and laminated gypsum formations, stalactites, so-called “stone waves”, dozens of passages and halls: “Fairy Tale”, “Fantasy”, “Pres”, “Devil’s Throat”, etc. Different routes can be organized – either easy or more complicated BUT in any case there are places where you will have to crawl or walk squatting, squeeze yourself through narrow passages or deep cracks in gypseous rock of the cave.
