Creations of the best of them have formed the unified and integral image of Lviv. Poems are dedicated to Lviv, its images are represented in paintings, water-colours, etchings made by numerous artists. Hundreds and thousands of tourists from the whole world come to get acquainted with Lviv, to admire its architecture, to stroll about its streets, to breath in this unique, peculiar only to this place, spirit of struggle for freedom and independence.
Kyiv is the capital of Ukraine, a modern city with a population of about 3 mln people, that is situated near the Dnipro River. It is a big industrial and business, cultural and scientific centre. There are a lot of theatres, museums, galleries and exhibitions. Numerous parks, picturesque hills and unique monuments of antiquity blend with the modern city and create its colourful image. Kyiv is marvellous in any season, but it is most beautiful in May when thousands of chestnuts are in blossom.
Odessa citizens have always been considered as energetic, courageous, smart, and optimistic in any situation. These qualities are peculiar for them, for they have taken the best from their ancestors and have built up their own unique type of character like in any other Ukrainian town.
Odessa streets are like pages of an architectural textbook. Different architectural styles are combined here in amazing harmony: Gothic, Renaissance, Barocco, Classicism and Modernism.
